Those about to (seriously) rock in Southern California usually proudly tag themselves as being from one of SoCal's lauded hardcore-friendly areas: namely, Orange County, Long Beach, or San Diego. Ergo, it's a real anomaly to find a thrash/ rap band from the infamous suburban wasteland known as the San Fernando Valley. Made famous in--well, you KNOW what movie/ song I'm talking about--the Valley really is all about shopping malls and teenage angst (this writer grew up there and knows from liquid black eyeliner and looking sullen at the mall record store), but it's not exactly a hotbed for birthing local musical talent....
