July 1999 - Catherine Zeta-Jones, somehow fittingly, graces the cover of July's Allure, and the article inside is appropriately titled, 'Smitten.' Her unabashed self-confidence shines through even when she reveals that she wasn't a beautiful baby, 'My dad nearly divorced my mum when, two hours after giving birth to me, she said I was a frog.' (Hard to believe isn't it?) Perhaps more surprising than Catherine being an unattractive baby, is that she was once Britain's national tap-dance champion and that she is accomplished at ballet as well - though the trained eye might have spotted her dance training in the way she seems to glide rather than simply walk through her scenes....
