Attractive blonde actress who made her film debut at the age of 18 and starred in a host of uninspired romantic confections through the 1940s. Allegedly shattered by the break-up of a relationship with Rex Harrison (who was married to actress Lili Palmer at the time), Landis took her own life in 1948.....
