Kelly Packard (“Baywatch,” “California Dreams”) co-stars on the original series RIPLEY’S BELIEVE IT OR NOT! as the show's live-event correspondent. She opens each episode of the program by hosting outrageous feats taped before audiences at such diverse locations as Hollywood Boulevard, the Las Vegas Strip and stadiums across the country. Prior to joining Ripley’s, Packard starred for two seasons as the fashion-designing lifeguard April on the long-running series “Baywatch.” However, her first series-regular role was on NBC's popular teen comedy “California Dreams.” She portrayed the environment-loving, surfer-chick %22Tiffani%22 for five seasons.
Packard began her career by appearing in television commercials at the age of eight before going on to win the title of %22Miss California Pre-Teen%22 in 1988. In her early teens, she made the transition to series television with guest appearances on such shows as “The Wonder Years,” “Boy Meets World,” “Step by Step” and “Living Dolls.”
Packard’s previous hosting credits include numerous programs on E! Entertainment Television and an exercise video with Eric Nies, as well as the four-part special “Special Beaches” for The Travel Channel. Her film credits include “Auto Focus,” “Mind Wars” and “Get Your Stuff.”
